Inspiration
we just want to make a quality media recommender, so we made QMA.
What it does
It recommends media which include movies, songs and books. The user ca search any media and also give a review about the media which they consumed.
How we built it
We build it using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and we have used jQuery to store the data, and we have used IMDB API to recommend movies.
Challenges we ran into
Connecting to IMB API was tough and to host on GitHub pages was another challenge.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We both are proud of ourselves that we were able to complete this project within time.
What we learned
We learned how to use API. We also learn how to use GitHub pages to host our website
What's next for QMR (Quality Media Recommends)
we would love to add more movies, songs and books, and we would like to make an online chatting system as well
