🌟 About the Project

This project was inspired by the challenge of launching a new lifestyle brand in a crowded market. We wanted to create a data-driven marketing assistant powered by Qloo’s Taste AI, which uses behavioral intelligence to help brands identify:

  • Who their core competitors are
  • Where their target audience is concentrated geographically
  • Which demographic segments (age/gender) are most engaged
  • Which influencers and platforms best align with their brand identity

Our goal was to build both a console-based script and an interactive Streamlit interface, so that both technical and non‑technical users can run actionable campaigns with confidence.


🌱 What Inspired Us

  • The concept of behavioral insights: Discovering real preferences (via Qloo) is much more powerful than traditional demographics.
  • Seeing marketing decisions made by gut feeling—and wanting to bring them more into the 1% of AI‑driven precision.
  • A fascination with translating cultural taste and data into real strategic outputs for small brands.

⚠️ Challenges We Faced

  • Missing IDs in /search output: required fallback handling and filtering valid results before selection.

- Ambiguous name searches: searching "Nike" or "Jordan" may return multiple possible entities—so we added interactive selection logic.
