Problem Statement
We are trying to combat the coronavirus pandemic in 3 ways
Early detection of coronavirus infection is of tantamount importance at this stage. We created a fast, non invasive method of testing that will help detect patients susceptible to the virus at the early onset. This includes wearables, testing kits and cloud infrastructure.
Once a patient is quarantined, tracking is very essential. For this we built an android app informing him/her about medications, propagating important information from govt or trusted sources only and helping him cope with the situation.
The Administrator requires a method to ensure that patients in quarantine are abiding by the guidelines and get their body vitals on a regular basis.
Our Solution
Qwear: A smart wearable device which continuously tracks activity, sleep cycle reminds to take medicine, checkup and that increases the interaction of patient
QTricorder: An IoT based kit which measures multiple vital information in a single device that sends the data over to the cloud for analytics. The device collects the below vital information digitally. Body Temperature (IR based) Blood pressure Blood saturation (SpO2) Heart Rate Respiratory Rate ECG/EKG (Single Lead) Blood Sugar
QBMI: IoT based smart weight scale which can measure weight height and BMI digitally.
QLab It is a mobile application for the caregiver to screen the patient. This application collects all the vital information digitally and send the data to doctor portal in real time. This application can be used in the public places to screen the patient with COVID-19 symptoms.
QCare: GPS enabled mobile application for the patient (available in regional languages too) to monitor them in the home. This application can be used to monitor & track the quarantine patient remotely. This application can be integrated with the wearable device to provide real time monitoring of the patient.
QDoc: This is our AI integrated doctor backend portal for the product which monitor and separate Patient data based on the high risk and low risk categories. It allows doctors to see the patient historical data and provide the feedback for further consulting.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The prototype is being endorsed by the Govt of India and being deployed in multiple states and districts of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, helping the administration to fight the pandemic.
All the devices are being medically certified by CE Medical grade, ISO Medical grade, and from various Govt bodies for usage.
What's next for Qcare
- Need adequate funding and infrastructural support in order to mass produce our solution.
- Validation from Govt authorities, to test the product and application on mass level.
- Need local data if possible to start with the analysis for the AI model.
