Inspiration

The garbage queens housing site and the flood of roommate requests on Facebook

This project is used to find roommates for students who are lacking them.

We used a variety of web languages. Design done in css and html, the back end was done in php and SQL.

Most of the team did not use languages we were using.

Having a finished product at the end of the day.

How to do front end and back end of a website. How to complete a project.

Hosting this online so it can be used by queens students.

I did all the back end work for this project. That included work with PHP and SQL databases. I also did a bit of JavaScript work.

Allan Legemaate
I worked on the google maps API integration and did minor CSS changes. I learned a lot about the use of documentation to implement outsourced API.

Roberto A. Ruiz
I worked on a bit of the front end user interface and tested mock posts. This was my first hackathon and I'm super proud of what my team was able to make in the time constraint. Overall so fun!

Jonathon Gallucci
Worked on the front-end UI which used HTML and CSS. I knew a little about these languages before hand, but I am much more comfortable with them after this project
