Every weekend that we head out to the bars, we always run into the issue of waiting in a long line. Many people also experience this problem, so we created an app called "Q", which lets users find out the current wait time, or queue, at any local bar or restaurant. Users open the app, and immediately see every popular bar and restaurant in their area accompanied by a status ring that shows the status of the line in either red, yellow, or green. Red means there is a long wait time, yellow means there is a short wait time, and green means there is no wait time at all. Users can also vote on the status of the line by clicking either red, yellow, or green, so long as they are within 100 feet of a given location. The incentive to vote is to earn "Qkarma", much like YikYak users earn Yakarma when they vote on Yaks. We plan on launching this app on the PSU campus soon.
