Inspiration Hi my name is Mahanth Chintha! And my hack is called Q-City Especially, with Covid-19 and the pandemic Quarantining has been necessary for so many people… and for many including me staying in quarantine is pretty hard, and many people don’t follow quarantining guidelines and it results in this virus spreading even more. And, even though Covid-19 has significantly decreased over the past few weeks it is still an issue… So, Q-City solves this problem!
What it does Basically, you are in a quarantine bubble and if you stay inside it your bubble city develops more and more, but if you step out your bubble city crashes and you lose! Essentially, the more time you stay inside your bubble the more your city develops! Additionally, it also gives you valuable hacks in sectors such as food, fitness, and entertainment to help people while quarantining.
How we built it Mit App Inventor
Challenges we ran into The software kept crashing making it difficult to test the app.
Accomplishments that we're proud of Making this because the application kept crashing, the dimensions were off, and this is a completely new app development tool to me with coding that was quite confusing because I have never done it before!
What we learned I learned to be patient and I learned a lot about Mit App Inventor as I never used it before
What's next for Q-City Probably making it an actual app and making it more user friendly
