Inspiration

I wanted to do something with AI image recognition.

What it does

Identifies cells based on a trained model

How we built it

Started with the backend which utilized the trained model and handled all the classification and then built the frontend using tkinter.

Challenges we ran into

Had a lot of difficulty training the model and it still doesn't accurately classify images.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm happy I got the project finished.

What we learned

A lot more about AI and machine learning.

What's next for PyTorch Cell Identifier

Hopefully will work more on the training model to make it more accurate.
