Python Bot

Inspiration

We wanted to learn more about Python, since it was a programming language we didn't have alot of experience in.

Resources

We used a template for a python discord bot in order to get an idea of where to begin. We registered the bot and was able to get it running from different sites due to its remote repository.

Challenges

Most of the programming experience the team had was mostly with lower level programming languages that made python's syntax a little alien at first glance. Through explanation and research, we were able to get a better grasp at how concepts such as message parsing and command creation within the discord.py library.
