Named after the famed oracle of Greek mythology, Pythia is a customer service chatbot, powered by Ada. We decided to make Pythia to improve the customer satisfaction and experience when dealing with their home and auto insurance.

Before we even decided what we were doing, our first step was to find out what exactly people were saying about their experience with Intact insurance. Looking at multiple reviews over multiple sources, a common problem regards the customer support pipeline. Customers felt as though they weren’t receiving enough communication from Intact when dealing with their questions and concerns after waiting to reach an agent.

We believe that by using a chatbot, we can alleviate the crowd of customers with common questions about claims while leaving the 24/7 support line readily available for customers with more immediate queries.

Pythia is able to answer basic questions about insurance and also more in depth with auto and home insurance. The bot uses information from Intact Insurance’s FAQ so any information given to a customer is correct and according to the company’s policy.
