Inspiration

As gamers who are interested in web scrapping, we decided to use this opportunity to project our interest into our work

What it does

It receives the username from the user and we use this username to access different League of Legends game data and summarizes it to create master list of final game stats

How we built it

We used Python, using requests library and beautifulsoup library

Challenges we ran into

Beautifulsoup library command lines required us to learn basic HTML and CSS structure which we were not familiar with

Accomplishments that we're proud of

we are proud of branching outside of the sources that we are required to learn for our undergraduate programs.

What we learned

This allowed us to widen our perspective in the subject of computer science.

What's next for Pyjac-web-scrap-league-data

We hope to implement this as a successful GUI where it allows print data through GUI and also we want to included several other categorizations and options for games other than League of Legends
