pyDuctor is a program developed in Python that allows you to simulate conducting an orchestra and even more.

You can take any .wav file, plug its name into the python script and conduct using your LeapMotion device!

pyDuctor allows you to control the volume and the framerate of the file you want to play. The way it works is that you use your left hand to control the volume and the right hand to control the tempo (consequently, the pitch of the sound section as well).

We have also made a little GUI for you that allows you to keep track of what you're doing.

Last but not least, everything is open-source. You are free to download the code from our github accounts (https://github.com/orensxhagolli/pyDuctor) and start trying to develop upon this. We have provided thorough documentation and lots of tools for further development as we also plan to continue developing as well. Join us for bringing even more exiting new features to this project.
