Inspiration

I got my inspiration from the flutter puzzle challenge game link. I played the demo of the game and it was so addictive, so I decided to use the same concept to build one for this hackathon challenge.

What it does

Puzzle bee just like the flutter slide puzzle sample game, is a sliding rectangle puzzle game that consists of a square container with numbered tiles in random orders with a missing square tiles. The goal of the game is to challenge one's mind to see if they can arrange the numbers in their correct order.

How we built it

Flutter bee was built from the concept gotten from flutter puzzle challenge sample game. We built it using flutter framework with all night coding.

Challenges we ran into

Adding animation to the tiles and calculating the tiles in matrix format was more like a challenge, but with the help of consistency and curiosity, every bugs and issues were fixed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The fact that every challenges we fixed was a big one. Learning new things, howto and howNotTo was a massive plus. Even the fact that I was able to build a flutter game for the first time that runs on all platform. All thanks to flutter codebase.

What we learned

We learn how to make a flutter project responsive on all platform using animation for better user experience. We learnt how quickly fix bugs in a short time. lol

What's next for Puzzle Bee

At this stage, puzzle is still in beta mood and that makes it a little bit incomplete. We've outlined the next things for puzzle bee after the challenge. Add medium and hard difficulty levels Integrate In app purchase before users can move to the next level Integrate play games for android users for showing leaderboard Integrate Aws amplify Datastore or Firesbase Cloud storage to save and sync users scores across devices Integrate Multiplayer feature in other to play and compete with friend around the world* Including other features that will come to mind in the feature

Additional Details

Puzzle bee currently runs all web, android, ios, linux, windows and macOs. Puzzle bee plays a short audio whenever the game is started for better reasoning, focus and entertainment.
