Inspiration

We envisioned a reality where people were dying to know what kind of cat they are.

What it does

A user-friendly and interactive personality quiz that asks thought-out questions to gauge what your inner feline is.

How we built it

JavaScript handles the interactions i.e. button-pressing, audio sounds, and alerting user to validate input (e.g. when you forgot to select a response). HTML was used to provide backbone and CSS was used for stylizing.

Challenges we ran into

We had a tricky time coming up with a unique and catchy website name.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a project that panders to something we all find interesting: learning more about ourselves!. were also able to create a user-friendly and interactive interface with carefully thought out questions.

What we learned

We learned how to use JavaScript for event-handling and image display using appropriate variable types. We also learned how to deploy a site using Porkbun's domain system via GitHub pages and CNAME files.

What's next for Purrfection

We would like to improve the UI/UX aspects of it to include a progression bar, audio background music, and a cat-themed API that displays fun facts related to your resulting cat type using https://catfact.ninja/.
