Made for 2024 ATL AI Hackathon: Computer Vision Track
What it does
PurpleViz can count the amount of dust particles placed on a piece of paper from a static wick using computer vision.
How we built it
Used RoBoFlow combined with a React / PostGreSQL / Django stack.
Challenges we ran into
Counting more distinguished particles that the computer couldn't recognize.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our model reached 90% accuracy for a given generation.
What we learned
How to use RoboFlow to do counting for computer vision problems and properly connecting their API to a frontend site.
