Purple Doctor - Self Diagnosis Assistant

Purple Doctor aims to eliminate misdiagnosis due to misinformation and self-diagnosis by leveraging voice activated devices and tapping into the insurance industry.

Inspiration

We were inspired by the stunning statistic that 12 million people suffer from misdiagnosis and 40,000~80,000 people die due to it.

What it does

By providing professionally prepare self-diagnosis questionnaire available on readily existing smart devices, we'll be able to save lives and time.

How we built it

We leveraged Voiceflow to create a visual questionnaire which integrates to Google Assistant. Then the collected data gets sent to our server via API call.

Challenges we ran into

Health is a serious topic that can incur big liabilities. Navigating the legality of operation and finding viable business model was a challenge.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We feel most proud of proposing a solution that can potentially save lives.

What we learned

Integrating voice activated service and google assistant is surprisingly easy. There's a lot of potential in this space!
