What it Does!

PureFindr is a digital networking database designed specifically for new rescue organizations, aimed at reducing the stress that these organizations often face when starting. With PureFindr, new rescue organizations can easily find task forces, and facilities, and promote their organization, all in one app.

Challenges We Ran into!

During the development of PureFindr, we faced a significant technical challenge when attempting to install the Firebase authentication system within the app using SwiftUI, a user-interface programming language released by Apple. Despite the initial difficulty, we were able to successfully integrate Firebase by updating the MacOS Ruby programming language using Homebrew, an open-source software for updating MacOS or Linux systems, and utilizing cocoa pods, a literacy-dependent management tool.

What's Next for PureFindr?

In version 2.0 of PureFindr, we plan to enhance the user experience by adding an onboarding screen to provide new users with a brief introduction to the app's purpose. Additionally, we aim to implement greater security measures to improve user satisfaction and protect sensitive data. Currently, the app only contains the Firebase Authentication Database System as its sole security measure, but we plan to add more robust security features in the future.
