Inspiration for our project
We are motivated to help children in need all over the world with this project. Our inspiration came from an existing non-government organization and their work. With our solution, we aim to connect children with sponsors, ultimately improving their lives.
What it does
Potential sponsors can access more information about the services that help a child through a portal. If they are interested in supporting a child as a sponsor, they can create a portal account to gain access to more details about the children and the ways in which they can provide support. The full onboarding process, including the creation of a contract, is facilitated by Agentforce. There are two separate agents involved in this process. The first agent is available to users who are not logged in and provides information about the services and assists with creating a portal account. Once a user has logged in to the portal, the second agent becomes available. This agent helps users to select a service and a beneficiary, and to create a contract. All information related to contracts and beneficiaries is accessible through the portal.
How we built it
There are already existing Agentforce features for NGOs. In our project we extend the existing features. We utilized two distinct service agents, which are integrated into a portal built using Experience Cloud. Each agent features unique custom topics and actions. Additionally, we employed flows to automate the creation of objects and the sending of emails. The implementation also included the capability to provide a contract in PDF format, allowing users to download and upload PDF files within the agent chat.
Challenges we ran into
Creating the right scopes and instructions to guide the agents was a challenging task for us. Additionally, the agent builder had some bugs that resulted in wasted time.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We created two agents with a significant number of interactions and automations, all without requiring any coding. Given that everyone had a full-time job, it was impressive that we were able to work together effectively as a team and go the extra mile. As a result, we were able to implement a useful case that made a positive impact on the world.
What we learned
We gained a significant amount of hands-on experience with Agentforce, which was beneficial in understanding how to plan and implement the agents, including the testing process. Additionally, learning how to integrate agent chat into the portal was a valuable experience, as it involved more than just dragging and dropping the chat into the portal.
What's next for Pure Heart Services
We would like to continue developing the use cases that we were unable to complete within the given time frame. This will allow us to gain deeper experience in a valuable topic that benefits our planet. We never know how this will lead us in the future.
