Pure Blood Yacht Club NFT

What was your motivation?

We are looking to bring Ethereum style NFTs like Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, etc. to DERO with an element of privacy not possible on Ethereum and other public blockchains, i.e., Private NFTs.

Why did you build this project?

We intend to use the proceeds from the sale of Pure Blood Yacht Club NFTs to buy a (Pure Blood) Yacht in Mexico but the NFTs will function as a self-sovereign identity across the entire ecosystem. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/what-self-sovereign-identity-why-do-we-need-trenton-gaddis-%E9%AB%98%E5%B4%94%E7%99%BB-/

Holders of the NFTs will have free access to the Yacht and meet-ups, etc.

What problem does it solve?

The government would love to have a list of people who are Pure Bloods, i.e., have not received any COVID-19 injections but luckily homomorphic encryption protects the identity of our members. This is necessary to combat the rise of Medical Totalitarianism.

What did you learn?

I learned one can use almost any programming language via websockets with the DERO network, which really open the blockchain to developers beyond the cryptocurrency world.

What makes your project stand out?

The idea is to create a real world Yacht Club and not just in the Metaverse but connect like-minded members while preserving privacy. It is envisioned that Private NFTs / Self-Sovereign Identity are only the beginning and we plan to expand to DeFi, etc. after facilitating an Opensea like marketplace.
