Inspiration

Designed as an in between to BoilerExams and Rate My Professor, Purdue Percentage is meant to be a source of guidance to students.

What it does

Provide an interface for students to anonymously post exam scores and the methods they used to prepare in order to better inform their peers.

How we built it

We are all comfortable with python, which made it a natural choice. We picked django because it offered a more complete framework ecosystem than flask. We used bokeh to do the visualization and django's built in datamodel to interact with our database.

Challenges we ran into

Team member availability throughout the weekend, as well as visualization were the two largest challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Visualizing grade distributions for classes using a variety of plots.
