Inspiration- Based on the true story of the first Black captain in Royal Navy history, Punch follows a pioneering sailor whose deadliest enemy may be the prejudice of the empire he serves.
Punch was developed as an exploration of how generative performance can be achieved with current ai tools (as of July 2025) and inspired by my passion for social history and justice.
How we made it- Made with Veo 3, Flux Kling and eleven labs for voice consistency. Edited and graded in Davinci Resolve
Challenges we ran into- No first and last frames at that stage, voice and accent inconsistency so we replaced with eleven labs
What's next for PUNCH - Captain Punch will sail again!
