Before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the average growth of the global economy had already slowed. The epidemic has impacted negatively on the global economy, causing the greatest downturn since the Great Depression and severely affecting on working hours and earnings.
PUMP is a social commerce platform which aims to help and increase level of economic productivity of Thai SMEs, which consist of more than 95% of total businesses, by using social media tools and innovation. We’re not only SMEs assistant, but also see the opportunity for the nano-influencer market who are seen as more authentic and personal approachable than celebrities. Our goal is to match the right nano influencers with the SMEs which will help them to gain more engagement and sales.
After we did 3 prototypes, we had 60 Pumpers and 10 shops in total. From the latest prototype we applied the matching system to recommend Pumper to each shop. The system can customize group of Pumper based on the previous data, clustering group, and shop preferable. With this system, it can increased the effectiveness of each contents from Pumper as well as the shop satisfaction. Crispyycrumb, one of our partnered shop satisfied with the result. They had 71 account were reached and 339 impressions before using PUMP. After joined us, they increase 130% in reaching accounts and increase up to 552% profile visit.
