The Inspiration : Bridging the "Diagnostic Desert"

Every year, millions of lives are lost to preventable diseases simply because they were detected too late. In many parts of the world, health is a "waiting game."

A patient might have their pulse checked in a rural clinic, but a vital biochemical test requires a costly journey to a distant city. By the time the results return, the window for early intervention has closed.

We were inspired by SDG 3 to build a bridge over this gap. We realized that to save lives, we had to bring the diagnostic lab directly to the patient’s doorstep.

What it does: PulseQuick 360

PulseQuick 360 is a modular, unified health intelligence suite. It is designed to be the first line of defense in global healthcare.

The Vitals Module uses Arduino sensors to track heart rate, blood oxygen, and body temperature. To ensure data integrity, we integrated RFID-authenticated logins, protecting patient privacy from the start.

The Bio-Module is our specialized urine monitor. It analyzes biochemical markers to detect signs of infection, dehydration, or organ stress—data usually hidden from standard vitals checks.

How we built it : The Power of Modularity

During this hackathon, our primary technical challenge was achieving Data Interoperability. We didn't just want two devices; we wanted one unified "brain." We chose a Modular Architecture for a specific reason: Scalability. This allows clinics to deploy the Vitals base immediately and "plug in" the Bio-Module as their budget or needs grow.

We utilized Arduino for hardware processing because it is rugged and affordable. We built the dashboard in Python to ensure the analytics were fast, visual, and easy for any health worker to understand.

The Impact: Prevention as a Human Right

PulseQuick 360 shifts the medical narrative from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. It turns a single checkup into a comprehensive health audit.

By lowering the cost of lab-grade diagnostics to nearly zero, we are making Universal Health Coverage (SDG 3.8) a technical reality rather than just a global goal.

We believe that geography should never determine a person's life expectancy. We built PulseQuick 360 because we know that prevention is not just better than cure—it is the cure.
