In 2008, a man stole $50,000 from banks by stealing a few cents to one dollar from thousands of accounts. Redeeming this concept to create something more positive, Pull Me Not! measures the impact of using less paper towels by showing financial and environmental savings on an individual and aggregate level directly to users.

We are inspired by minimalism, a frustration for avoidable waste, and the ability to show people the value of their actions.

Psychographically, our target users are people who appreciate the importance of group impact, value or enjoy working with statistics, and love seeing technology emerge in new areas. Demographically, we see this being implemented in areas with large groups of university level students and young adults.

The key feature we're most proud of is our extremely versatile detection algorithm which allows us to firstly ensure that our data holds it's accuracy and integrity, and to secondly allow us to continue to be creative by seeing how we can embed this algorithm into other pieces of daily life that would make the world's people more resourceful through small actions.

Overall, our device aims to simply put in perspective the ability of an individuals small impact to contribute to a larger cause.
