Inspiration

Created at a gamejam Dingo2025 and the theme was growth, we decided to make a party game with puffter fish who grow.

What it does

It's a king of the hill party game that is 2 to 8 players local only. Each player is a pufferfish that can grow and dash to push each other off the platform.

How we built it

We built this game in godot while using github for version control.

Challenges we ran into

Our biggest challenge was making sure that mutliple controllers would work and that the game would fit as many players it needed dynamically. Aswell as the respawning, because the physics would interfere in some ways.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Exporting the project to steamdeck and mobile.

What we learned

We learned how much work goes into making the local multiplayer games.

What's next for Puff Puff Push

We want to create more classes and more game modes. An example could be a racing game mode. We have also thought about publishing the game to google play or steam.
