Inspiration

I did use codepen and saw the require upgrade to use ai and to make private pens and such so pterocos is completly free and has some features that considered paid in codepen for free

What it does

Pterocos is a free, browser-based HTML/CSS/JS playground that includes:

  • Monaco editor (VS Code-grade) with autocomplete, syntax highlighting, multi-tab support
  • Live preview pane
  • Preprocessors: SCSS, TypeScript, Babel
  • AI chat assistant for debugging, suggestions, and building/ generating UI components
  • Save projects to browser local storage (no account needed)
  • Make code public to share with friends, with statistics and like/dislike from users
  • Privacy controls (ability to make private codes and share selectively)
  • Multiple tabs per project (HTML, CSS, JS tabs)
  • Multiple projects support

How I built it

I did used php ,html css and js

Lack of experience (i did studied much stuff in process)

No idea. but we hope we can give more to user experience depends on feedback and such
