Inspiration

We were inspired by all the terrible and inaccurate ads around the internet. For that reason, people install adblocks, which indirectly kills the free web. We wanted to stop this, and support the web.

What it does

Our chrome extension uses our neural net to recognize the products within a loaded Facebook image. The extension then inserts a suggestion that is relevant to the product recognized.

How we built it

We built the chrome extension with javascript, CSS, and HTML.

Challenges we ran into

We set batch sizes too small, making us retrain our recognition software.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We're proud to show our product recognition neural net with our new extension.

What we learned

We learned that leaving your power cord out for people to trip on is BAAAD. Also, never rely on hackathon WIFI. (P.S. Never assume your code works.)

What's next for Psychic

We hope that project Psychic can get us investors or partners.
