Inspiration

We are all big foodies and we wanted to make an interactive kitchen tool which allows us to not go between recipe book, the screen and cooking so we decided to build this

What it does

Its a tool which takes the picture of a recipe as an input, converts it into speech and also takes in voice commands to let you interact with the recipe

How I built it

uSing Python and various google cloud and free APis

Challenges I ran into

It was hard to get the voice integration to work in tandem with the speech part but it finally worked

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We are extremely happy that this was our first hackathon and we finally got something to work completely. We are all physics students and are amateur coders so it really was exciting to us to create something that does something useful in less than 36 hours
