Provision stock

Inspiration

I have seen so many people struggling to invest in stocks and earn profit from them. Today, investing in stocks through human intelligence is very difficult, as we already know that stocks are unpredictable and we can't conquer them just by looking at their current situation. We have to look at the past prices of stocks, which could be before one month, six months, or even a year. That's why I have Provison stocks, which can forecast the data of the stocks from the required date to the present date, which can help us analyse the market position of the stocks. Additionally, provision stock has a four-year price prediction window.

What it does

The provision stock can forecast the details of a stock from the selected date to the present date. It can predict the stock price of a selected company for up to four years . It can also compare two stocks.

How we built it

To start, we retrieved financial stock price data from the Yahoo Finance database using the yfinance library. We use the datetime module to set the default start and end dates for stock data after retrieving the stock price. Next, we send the prophet library this stock data along with the corresponding date and time. It predicts the stock prices for the application. * ## Challenges we ran into Mostly we faced the challenges in settings the stock names files of the company and then to decide how many global company to include in our database for stock price prediction. * ## Accomplishments that we're proud of *We can predict the stock price of a specific company upto four years. ## What we learned *Here, we learn how to used to use the machine learning and python libraries for prediction and forecasting tasks. * ## What's next for Provision stock *For, future we have to extend our database to much more of the big companies in the world . we will try to improve our accuracy using LSTM method and predict stock prices for longer period. we will try to make our application available to so many user and try to help so many stock investors. If we get some help to get our app recognized from MLH organization, it would be great support to us. *
