Prover — Verifiable DeFi Evidence, Distributed as Soulbound Report Cards
Problem Statement
DeFi has public transaction data but no shared, trust-minimized way to turn that data into portable accountability.
- Borrowers cannot easily prove narrowly defined repayment behavior to a lender.
- Users affected by suspicious execution must rely on explorers, screenshots, or analytics dashboards.
- Relayers and vault operators can claim trustworthiness without cryptographic evidence.
- Existing wallet scores are often opaque, non-portable, and do not explain exactly what was proven.
Solution
Prover is a cross-chain bureau for fulfilled and breached financial promises.
It uses Attestcoin to authenticate Ethereum transaction history on Creditcoin CC3, applies deterministic evidence predicates to that history, records accepted results on-chain, and distributes those records through non-transferable soulbound evidence cards.
Core Functionality
(including links to contracts deployed)
- Attestcoin-authenticated evidence: Prover retrieves source transaction proofs and verifies transaction bytes, successful receipts, exact event logs, source-block coordinates, and Merkle-derived transaction position through Creditcoin's native verification path.
- Sandwich-shaped execution evidence: Prover verifies three authenticated transactions in a shared block, checks their exact adjacency, receipt events, pool relationship, actor relationship, and supported inventory flow. The resulting evidence can be recorded through the deployed Curve evidence adapter.
- FairExit / queue-order evidence: Prover can verify a completed inversion such as request A < request B < process B < process A. The deployed Ordering Court evaluates supported bonded ordering claims, while the Covenant Book holds prospective operator bonds.
- Borrower evidence: Prover derives narrow Borrow → later self-Repay observations from supported lending protocol receipts. Current evidence surfaces include Aave V3 USDC, SparkLend USDS, and Morpho Blue-compatible observations. The deployed Aave Evidence Adapter and Spark Evidence Adapter authenticate exact protocol events.
- Canonical evidence record: Verified Bureau-grade observations and court rulings are stored in the deployed Performance Bureau. Standalone incident observations are stored separately in the deployed Incident Evidence Registry.
- Evidence, not an opaque score: Prover records exactly what the predicate establishes. A repayment observation is not a complete credit history; an ordering pattern is not automatically proof of malicious intent, damages, or compensation.
Soulbound NFTs: How Evidence Is Distributed
Once Prover has recorded a verified observation or terminal ruling on Creditcoin, it can distribute that evidence as a permanent ERC-5192 soulbound card.
- The soulbound NFT is a portable receipt for the canonical on-chain evidence; it does not create the proof or override the court.
- The recipient is derived by the evidence and contract rules, never selected by the UI or by whoever pays gas.
- For a positive borrower observation, the card is tied to the proven borrower.
- For a breach ruling, the card is tied to the proof-derived affected user or claimant — not automatically to the responsible operator.
- A third party can publish an accepted standalone observation, but only its proof-derived subject can mint the subject-bound card.
- Because the card is non-transferable, it cannot be bought to fake good history or transferred away to hide a record.
- Prover's deployed card issuers include the Bureau Evidence SBT, the Incident Evidence SBT, and the Curve evidence receipt issuer.
Why Attestcoin Matters
Attestcoin is the foundation of Prover, not a cosmetic integration.
- It lets Creditcoin verify authenticated Ethereum transaction and receipt data instead of trusting an explorer, indexer, oracle, or user-submitted screenshot.
- Its Merkle proof structure exposes authenticated transaction position. Prover reads sibling-direction bits to recover transaction indices and prove ordering or adjacency.
- This is what makes claims such as front → victim → back or request A < request B < process B < process A enforceable as deterministic on-chain predicates.
- The proof builder is only a transport layer. The CC3 native verifier and Prover contracts decide whether the source evidence is valid.
- Without Attestcoin, Prover could only be an off-chain analytics product that says, "we think this happened." It could not be a cross-chain evidence bureau that says, "this exact authenticated source history satisfies this exact on-chain predicate."
- Reading and verifying source evidence requires no user signature. A wallet signature is required only when a user chooses to publish evidence to Creditcoin or mint an eligible soulbound card.
Attestcoin proves the source-chain history. Prover interprets the narrow fact. Creditcoin records the result. Soulbound NFTs distribute the evidence.
Impact Summary
- Gives DeFi users a path from "I think something happened" to cryptographically verifiable evidence.
- Makes narrowly verified borrower behavior portable to lenders and other DeFi protocols.
- Makes relayers and queue operators accountable to prospective, bond-backed financial promises.
- Replaces opaque reputation scores with explainable evidence records tied to exact source-chain events.
- Enables wallets, DAOs, lenders, and protocols to verify evidence independently from Prover's frontend.
- Prevents reputation from becoming tradeable by distributing evidence through non-transferable soulbound NFTs.
