Inspiration

ProtoBop was inspired by a common problem: teams have strong ideas but lose momentum between brainstorming, design, and development. We wanted a single no-code space to go from concept to clear product direction.

What it does

ProtoBop is a no-code ideation and prototyping platform that helps teams brainstorm, find inspiration, prototype app flows, and iterate fast before writing code.

How we built it

We built ProtoBop by combining:

Gemini 3 for idea generation, content support, and iteration guidance
Google services, Vercel, TypeScript, Next.js, React for scalable backend capabilities and integration workflows
Ideogram for fast visual inspiration and concept imagery

Challenges we ran into

Balancing power and simplicity was the hardest part. We needed advanced iteration features while keeping the experience intuitive for non-technical users.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We unified brainstorming, inspiration, prototyping, and iteration in one workflow. Most importantly, teams can create meaningful, testable product concepts through a no-code experience.

What we learned

Reducing technical friction improves decision quality. When teams can quickly visualize and click through ideas, feedback gets better and product direction becomes clearer earlier.

What's next for ProtoBop
