Inspiration

We were inspired by the incredible activism that's shaped the past year, and by the idea that our struggles don't end with a regime change.

What it does

Our app gives activists and those interested in activism a place to connect and build together, on a platform that respects their safety and anonymity.

How I built it

We put together a Vue.js web application rendered by Nuxt, using Firebase to store all user-generated data. Most of our team is new to Vue, so learning the ins and outs of the language was a challenge.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We're proud of the amount that we were able to accomplish in a short timeframe, as well as the social role that our app plays, especially now.

What I learned

We learned that doing Firestore queries through Vue takes some getting used to, and that you should never underestimate the power of a five minute nap.
