Inspiration

My inspiration came from wanting to know more about scientific research. I chose Ariana Peck's lecture to make a project about because I am interested in biology.

What it does

It teaches an ordinary person to learn about how particle accelerators are used in finding the protein structure.

How we built it

I build this project through Canva, a graphic design company.

Challenges I ran into

I ran into the challenge of finding good pictures to supplement my information. I also ran into the challenge of only using the most important information in an infographic or else it will get extremely boring. Normally, I use all the information I get, but with an infographic, I realized that you should only use the key details of the lecture.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of this project because it is my first infographic. I also am proud of this project because it is my first time where I deeply went into a single topic.

What I learned

I decided to try something new and learn how to make an infographic. Another thing I learned a lot about is about particle accelerators and proteins. Finally, I learned about protein structures and how scientists in SLAC use particle accelerators.

What's next for Protein Structure Infographic

My next step on "Protein Structure Infographic" is that I want to release this onto a website for the world to see. I also want to learn more about this topic and edit my project after my own research.
