The inspiration to this task was to make us, within healthcare, safer while working with contaminated patients. The lack of visors is a huge problem, but also the ergonomic design of the product, for those who wears it. The visors that are worn today are uncomfortable to wear for a longer period of time and the personell often gets headache and have abrasion marks due to the poor fit. They are also difficult to use since the visor is too close to the face which often makes condensation on the visor itself. To construct a visor from accessible materials, that is light and soft without any pressure on ears, nose or forehead was a challenge. This visor is now in use at The hospital in Visby, Gotland, Sweden and has been approved by disease control official on Gotland, Sweden.
