Inspiration

Video games are a project that requires several sets of skills, such as scoping, programming, physics, and much more, which made it a worthwhile thing to take a crack at.

What it does

Run the game, move with WASD keys, jump with J.

How we built it

The game was built entirely in the Godot game engine, with Maya writing code and Max providing art.

Challenges we ran into

Making collision detection work in a way the was like gears, but didn't accidentally break the game.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Developing further knowledge of using Godot

What we learned

There should be contingency plans, just in case unforeseen circumstances prevent us from working on the project.

What's next for Protect the Machine

Build it further to put on itch.io, will most likely be done after semester ends.
