Inspiration
This project was inspired by the current political state of America.
What it does
The program is a search engine of driver information for police to use to obtain information about a driver from their license plate. The program is accompanied by a RM transmitter that allows police to communicate directly to drivers via RF communication.
How I built it
The gui part of the Project was built using the Java gui framework JavaFX. Our project was then connected to a sample database of about 100 users using the jdbc driver.
Hardware: breadboards, leds electret mics, conductors, resistors
Challenges I ran into
Gui: Generating mock data Configuring the jdbc driver Reading the rows of driver information from the database
Hardware: soldering and desoldering properly making connnections between components
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
A successful connection was made to the database, which us to search for license numbers
