Inspiration
The power of finance to be a force for good.
What it does
ProsperityAI is an AI ESG/Impact advisory tool for private market funds (private equity, private debt, VC, infrastructure, real estate etc...). ProsperityAI helps firms structure private market transactions to reduce ESG risks and maximise impact, empowering informed deal structuring and execution. It does this by seamlessly integrating with clients' existing risk and ESG policies/frameworks to accompany clients on the pre-deal, post-deal, and portfolio monitoring lifecycle of a transaction. It scrapes data by asking clients to publish fund documents and transaction due diligence documents, whilst also scraping data from OSINT channels. Specifically, it helps clients identify ESG and impact risks, provides tailored ESG scores to clients using their own proprietary frameworks, designs transaction level impact-linked transaction covenants and term sheets, whilst monitoring for future covenant breaches or impact risks, and finally providing a portfolio-level vue of ESG exposure and future opportunities. The end results for clients is quicker due diligence, better structured deals that avoid ESG and impact risks, and lower costs by replacing ESG analysts.
How we built it
As a team with a non-technical profile from the finance industry and a technical profile, we were able to combine our skills to build something quickly.
Challenges we ran into
To build codable architecture with long-term potential use, the set-up had more friction that initially anticipated. Integrating featherlessAI into personal workflow.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
To have built a tool that has the power to be scalable in the more than $12trn private assets industry, allowing investments to better anticipate ESG/Impact risks and opportunities.
What we learned
That no solution yet exists for private markets on a transaction-level.
What's next for ProsperityAI
To build up a client waitlist through outreach to private market asset and investment managers.
