Inspiration
I was inspired by a lack of more physical and interactive experiences within the framework and wanted to push to boundaries of what frames can accomplish.
What it does
It's a MVP allowing a player to move around an area and interact and learn about NFTs that propy offers.
How we built it
I used the frame.js template and built out the ui in react using a grid system to keep track of player and building positions.
Challenges we ran into
The frame system is incredibly limited and the documentation that does exist isn't especially apt to helping developers create anything more than slide-shows or basic nft minting. Also ran into issues with the frame working with vercel at the last hour despite the proof of concept working locally.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
That we've managed to develop 'something' despite how ludicrously limited the system is.
What we learned
Vercel, Nextjs, basics and limitations of frames.
What's next for Propy Metaverse in a frame
Adding multi-direction movement and more buildings.
