Inspiration

ProposeAI was born out of a simple frustration in my workplace, proposal creation is often a slow, repetitive, and uninspired process, especially for agencies and businesses that need to send dozens at a time. As a founder and designer who's worked closely with AI tools and fast-moving startups, I saw how much time teams spent formatting documents instead of winning clients. We imagined a better way, one that combined automation, intelligence, and beauty.

What it does

ProposeAI is an AI-powered platform that helps agencies, freelancers, and businesses generate professional proposals in seconds. Users can craft high-quality, beautifully designed proposals with tailored copy, custom branding, and clear structure—automatically. It supports fast editing, bulk generation for multiple clients, and organized management of all proposals in one dashboard.

How we built it

We designed ProposeAI with a clean, modern UI that feels intuitive and fast. The frontend was built with React and Tailwind, while the backend uses Supabase and integrates with Gemini’s API for copy generation. We built the application to handle template-based proposal generation with editable blocks, role-based user access, and future-ready support for PDF export and analytics. The focus was on a seamless user experience that reduces time-to-send from hours to minutes.

Challenges we ran into

Balancing flexibility and simplicity was tough. We wanted to give users full control over their proposal content without overwhelming them with settings. Integrating dynamic content generation while preserving design consistency was also a challenge. Finally, ensuring each proposal felt human and not generic was something we continuously iterated on.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud of how quickly users can go from idea to professional proposal. The intuitive interface, real-time editing, and AI-assisted writing have already helped early users cut down proposal creation time by over 80%. We’re also proud of the design system—crafted with care to reflect trust, clarity, and polish.

What we learned

We learned that speed means nothing without clarity. Users don’t just want fast, they want confidence.

What's next for ProposeAI

Next, we’re rolling out features like e-signatures, proposal analytics (to track opens, views, and engagement), and smart recommendations based on industry and client type. We’re also integrating into Google and Microsoft applications and with CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce to streamline the workflow from lead to closed deal. We envision ProposeAI becoming the go-to co-pilot for every agency and business looking to win more clients with less effort.
