What it does
Will use unique RFID, sent virtually to homebuyers
How we built it
We built two lockboxes with Arduino as our main microcontroller, utilizing an RFID sensor to unlock the box given the correct user, ultrasonic sensor to close to the box, and an LED signify opening and closing of the box (green and red respectively).
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we ran into were making sure electronic parts were not in the way of the overall utilization of the box, tediousness of the construction of the box, and general debugging with the usage of Arduino Cloud.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We accomplished the creation of multiple different boxes working simultaneously across the cloud, which we are extremely proud of. Moreover, we are extremely proud with the convenience our product delivers.
What we learned
We learned how to integrate hardware, software, and mechanical design to create a well-functioning product.
What's next for PropLock Vault
The next step for PropLock Vault is to design and create a more secure lockbox with using renewable, durable material.
