Inspiration

Our team imagined a world where every health condition was recognized and treated before it come up- and we could make it happen. In today's world, doctors do everything they can to keep patients healthy however healthcare organizations can look to their data and analytics to better support patients before, during and after their visit. The key to success is predictive analytics.

What it does

The use of predictive analytics and predictive modelling allows the healthcare organization to analyze massive amount of patient ,consumer and market data, then produce actionable insights. This creates a win-win situation for patients and providers. At every stage of patient's journey, predictive analytics can help. By using it, we can get better care, get early interventions, optimize operations and save money.

How we built it

The predictive model is trained with data acquired from many sources including clinical, EHR and healthcare activity data. The model then uses that data to make prediction about future behavior. After certain period, the random forest tree and the neural network algorithm of ML is able to make accurate and actionable insights that are required to prevent and predict the ill-effects of the disease.

Challenges we ran into

It was challenging to collect a large amount of data and to analyze the patterns and trends in them.

What we learned

We have learned various machine learning concepts to build predictive models faster and more accurate.

What's next for PROPHENTA

We hope this project will get selected and give us an immense motivation to work further and develop with more additional features. We believe this will bring a vital change in the medical community for sure!!!
