Inspiration
As a Master's student in Artificial Intelligence, I've experienced the frustration of navigating complex technical discussions on StackOverflow. Developers often spend hours searching through lengthy posts to find relevant solutions. I wanted to create an intelligent tool that could instantly summarize technical content, provide conversational insights, and make technical knowledge more accessible.
What it does
The StackOverflow Conversational Assistant is a multi-modal AI application that:
- Generates instant summaries of StackOverflow pages
- Enables conversational interactions with technical content
- Provides voice-enabled search and query capabilities
- Stores and retrieves personalized query history
- Offers text-to-speech for accessibility and ease of use
How we built it
The application was built using a comprehensive Azure-powered tech stack:
- Frontend: React.js for a responsive user interface
- Backend: Azure Functions for serverless compute
- AI Processing: Azure OpenAI for content summarization and conversational AI
- Database: Azure Cosmos DB for storing query history
- Voice Technologies: Azure Speech Services for voice input and text-to-speech
- Integrated multiple Azure services to create a seamless, intelligent experience
