Hello Sia Community ♡ As a real estate agent and founder of PropertieswithJess (& Sia), I'm creating a platform to revolutionise the property buying, selling and renting process. Traditionally, this involves lengthy procedures with agents holding clients' money, sometimes leading to fraud, as well as involving multiple stakeholders that eventually lead to problems such as miscommunication. Our platform, powered by us with a central access point, will use Sia tech for storage of crucial information, eliminating these risks.

PropertieswithJess (& Sia) utilise the Sia network for storing all data, including images, documents, videos and property-based contracts. This integration ensures transparency, security, and efficiency, aligning with Sia's vision of decentralised data solutions. Stakeholders that are pivotal to the process, including the government bodies, lawyers and platform providers, will not be replaced but would instead greatly benefit from the streamlined process and system in place through Sia tech.

Inspiration

The inspiration behind PropertieswithJess (& Sia Protocol) comes from a deep understanding of the complexities and inefficiencies in the real estate market, especially the lack of transparency in property transactions. Recognising the potential in addressing these challenges, the project aims to streamline the process for various stakeholders, including buyers, sellers, and agents, by integrating innovative Sia technology. This technology, particularly Sia renter developed by the Sia Foundation, is selected to ensure secure, transparent, and efficient real estate transactions, transforming the traditional property landscape.

What it does

PropertieswithJess (& Sia Protocol) integrates Sia technology, particularly Sia renter, to enhance real estate transactions' transparency and efficiency, offering a seamless experience for all stakeholders.

How we built it

The project was built by leveraging the capabilities of Sia renter, a Sia solution by the Sia Foundation, focusing on creating a secure and user-friendly platform for real estate transactions. Challenges we ran into

We encountered challenges in application, testing and deployment, primarily due to limited technical expertise in this emerging field. The project is to be built by leveraging the capabilities of Sia renter, a tech solution by the Sia Foundation, focusing on creating a secure and user-friendly platform for real estate transactions in a decentralised manner.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

PropertieswithJess made significant strides in gaining traction with actual cases comprising sale, purchase and rental, and demonstrating the potential of our Sia tech-integrated real estate solution.

What we learned

The key lesson has been the importance of choosing the right protocol for Sia tech integration to ensure the success of our platform.

What's next for PropertieswithJess (& Sia Protocol)

Finding the right resources for deployment of integration methodology with Sia tech as the decentralised data storage, considering that all materials and resources had already been gathered for the purposes of technical deployment and subsequent release of the product in phases.
