Inspiration

As a freelance service provider, I grew frustrated with scattered client feedback—chasing testimonials via email, manually curating reviews across platforms, and struggling to turn feedback into compelling case studies. I saw fellow creators in coaching, design, and consulting face the same pain: great work, but no streamlined way to showcase it. That’s when I set out to build a tool that makes social proof collection effortless, not exhausting.

What it does

This SaaS tool centralizes every step of social proof management for service-based creators. It automates testimonial request emails with timed outreach, organizes client feedback into a searchable feed, converts testimonials into polished case studies, syncs reviews from major platforms, and deploys embeddable social proof walls to websites—all with a visually engaging, intuitive interface.

How we built it

I started by mapping core user workflows (email outreach, feedback organization, proof deployment) and designing a UI focused on smooth animations and intuitive navigation. Using React and Tailwind CSS for the frontend, I integrated Framer Motion to bring interactive animations to every element—from count-up stats to testimonial carousels. I built mock data logic to ensure the tool is demo-ready instantly, and structured the dashboard to prioritize ease of access to key features.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest hurdle was balancing visual polish with performance: creating seamless animations (staggered card entrances, star rating fills, smooth layout transitions) that didn’t slow load times. I also struggled to design the AI email timing logic to feel natural—adapting recommendations to different service types required iterating on timeline visualizations until they were both functional and easy to understand.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We created a tool that’s both beautiful and functional: every animation serves a purpose (guiding users, highlighting actions) without feeling overwhelming. The testimonial feed’s tag filtering and grid reorganization works flawlessly, and the case study generator turns raw feedback into professional documents in seconds. Most importantly, the tool requires no login—users can explore every feature instantly, removing friction from demoing to potential clients.

What we learned

I deepened my understanding of user-centric animation design: subtle micro-animations (hover effects, state transitions) make the tool feel responsive and human. I also learned to prioritize core workflows over feature bloat—focusing on the 5 key actions creators need (request, collect, organize, convert, deploy) made the tool more intuitive.

What's next for this project

Next, I plan to add real integrations with email service providers (to send actual outreach emails) and review platform APIs (Google, Facebook, Yelp) for live syncing. I’ll also build custom branding options for social proof walls and add team collaboration features—letting small service teams manage social proof together. Finally, I’ll optimize the tool for mobile use to fit creators’ on-the-go workflows.
