I designed and built Promptura from the ground up. I worked on the full-stack — using Supabase for the backend, Netlify for deployment, and DeepSeek R1 Distill as the AI model for prompt optimization. It was my first time experimenting with AI prompting about prompting, and I learned how to fine-tune interactions for minimal tokens and maximum clarity. The project was born out of real frustration I experienced as a user of AI tools — so I set out to create the tool I wish I had. Every part, from UX to AI logic, was hand-crafted to feel smooth, fast, and useful.

Promptura Dev Update Promptura was born out of a real-world frustration: constantly rewriting prompts, wasting tokens, and losing productivity trying to get AI models to understand simple creative requests. Instead of fighting the system, I built a tool that works with it—by using AI to generate better prompts for AI models.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Integrated DeepSeek R1 Distill via API to generate optimized prompts with minimal effort.

Used Supabase to manage backend data like prompt logs and user input/output efficiently.

Deployed the full app on Netlify for a fast and accessible user experience.

The results so far have been promising. Users can generate clearer prompts in fewer steps, making AI interaction more intuitive and less wasteful.

Next Steps: I’m working toward turning Promptura into a collaborative platform—think prompt sharing, remixing, and a searchable library of high-performance prompts. A sort of prompt marketplace for creators, developers, and power users.
