Inspiration

I was inspired to create Promptonic because I wanted to help vibe coders think through their projects so they have a better idea of the details vs letting AI make a bunch of assumptions for you.

What it does

Instead of presenting a giant form or a blank canvas (both can be equally overwhelming), it guides users step-by-step through the main aspects of their project requirements in order to generate a more comprehensive metaprompt to start their Bolt projects.

How we built it

Good ol vanilla HTML, CSS, JS with OpenAI API to generate the final result.

Challenges we ran into

Pretty much everything under the book. I recently became homeless so this entire month has been one of the most challenging but fulfilling of my life!

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting this idea out there while sleeping in my car! It's not perfect by any means, but I'm a lot closer to the vision in my head than I was a month ago.
