Why am I here

I am really in-like with GenAI #exponentialAge and all the disruption that is taking place (like it, hate it, or join it) and with the rapidly evolving world of generative AI (#GenAI), and the use cases, The efficiency and organization of so call prompts have quickly become a need, a MUST.

So, while you may use Notes, GitHub Repo, or Google Keep for that matter to keep your prompts recorded, noted down, (and passed down through generations)— as long as it's super handy and accessible in your web browser, - that's really where the most value comes from when it comes #genAIbyAverageJoe disruption.

The Pain of Managing Prompts

As a user and developer within the GenAI ecosystem, It’s a common challenge I faced myself, and my AI Engineering colleagues faced as well: managing a plethora of prompts. :the_sad_face_emoji: These prompts, crucial for interacting with AI models, often got lost in the shuffle of everyday work. Without a proper management system, the process was inefficient and time-consuming. This problem not only hampered productivity but also stifled creative exploration. It was clear that a solution was needed — a tool that could centralise, organise, and just simplify this prompt management process.

The Promise of PromptKeeper

PromptKeeper emerged as a response to this need. This simple, yet effective Chrome extension is designed for anyone using GenAI platforms. It offers a convenient way to store, manage, and reuse prompts, all within your browser.

The point is, — with Generative AI use cases, Prompt Engineering is quickly the First Point of call, and the most effective starting point to get the most from your Generative AI, tuning the context, your “Gorgeous Assistant” helpfulness level — This is their the Art of Prompt Engineering comes in. It’s a well-paid time as well.

Several evenings later, it’s the Chrome Extension I created to fast-track prompt engineering with a focus on re-usability and efficiency. And This Post dives into the journey of developing PromptKeeper, its impactful features, and how it accelerates value creation with GenAI tools and services.

Whats Next

The journey doesn’t end here. Upcoming features include AI integration for testing prompts and cloud synchronisation for cross-device access.

Upcoming Features I hope to develop and ship out are:

  • Integration with AI services for prompt Optimisation - DONE pre-release v1.0.9 pending
  • Automated prompt quality evaluation (Bias, Toxicity, etc) and scoring.
  • Cloud synchronisation of prompts across devices.
  • User-defined prompt templates for quick reuse.
