Prompster

Inspiration

I have difficulty coming up with original ideas for my art and stories. Lots of good ideas are taken, and I need a push in the right direction. So I came up with Prompster to solve that issue.

What it does

Prompster generates prompts for writers and artists to use when they create their stories. The prompts are general and can be expanded on.

How I built it

I built this website using replit and it allowed me to see my code work. I used Javascript, HTML, and CSS to design my website.

Challenges I ran into

I have difficulty creating the generator as it was a struggle to move and replace parts of my website.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I'm proud of finding original ideas for the generator, as it was difficult to find ideas which weren't taken.

What I learned

I learned how to use Javascript to create features on my website. I'm used to moving things with Javascript instead of changing screens.

What's next for Prompster

I plan to create customization, so my users can generate more specific or general ideas. I also plan to create mini sections where certain tropes and background can be added to fit the work better.
