The ideation process started after experiencing some of the group members in relation to another Hackathon and joining with other ideas of the others, from this experience we were able to define the scope of work as objectively as possible. After discussions and arguments Discord and WhatsApp platforms together with the team and mentors, we delimit our target, primarily, around the 50 most threatened species of extinction due to trafficking in Brazil.

Wildlife trafficking remains a pernicious transnational crime that threatens security, economic prosperity, the rule of law, long-standing conservation efforts and human health. Brazil is a important source, transit and consumer country of wildlife trafficking products or its derivatives; it is also one of the countries with the greatest biodiversity and wildlife populations, and it is imperative that all efforts are designed to protect and preserve its fauna. IBAMA reports, state agencies combating wild animal trafficking, researchers and NGOs estimate that millions of animals are affected annually by this crime, in an industry illegal that is worth billions of dollars. The internal market represents 60% of the volume of trafficking, while the United States, the EU and Asia receive the remaining 40%, many of which are rare and endangered species.

Therefore, the proposed solution is to conduct a demographic survey of 50 species through technological programs capable of carrying out a recognition of registered species and send to the database, in addition, recognition of possible invaders is also carried out concurrently in protection areas where monitoring is most inaccessible. Furthermore, for through citizen science, the population will be able to contribute through platforms developed especially for the project, in the sense of capturing information. This participation will take place in the sense of interaction where information about the precise location, visual appearance and registration with photos of the animals. This compilation of information related to the recognition will be arranged in 3 spheres, park managers, park managers The Guardians Project and government environmental management in order to increase supervisory power and to prevent accurate information about locations from being available to the general public.

Simultaneously, the project has a space for the interaction of the population with trafficked animals, considering information about what really happens with these animals, ways of denouncing, importance of being maintained in nature, the relationship between trafficking and public health and obtain a certain animal from legal breeding sites. This awareness in allows doors to be opened for population awareness in the face of illegal wildlife trafficking and open a channel for complaints anonymous companies are increasingly effective in order to find possible interceptors. These complaints can be made within the website itself and / or project application, without the person identifying himself, this information will be passed on to the responsible government sectors. With this network of complaints, we intend to create a network of graphic data created specifically to store and browse relationships. This means that complaints allow to assemble a mapping of events containing accurate information on the criminal network related to wild animal trafficking.

Together there will be a space for breeding sites legalized by the IBAMA, who through a monthly fee, can register and have the benefit of being sought out by those people who have an interest in get a wild animal at home. A differential of this registration of breeding grounds is all will be checked before they become available for community and will be in an environment where the demand for this type of information / service is consistent.
