Inspiration
Our inspiration was a time where we were stuck trying to figure out what to do for a large open-ended project and wasted a lot of time in frustration. We used AI to try to get inspiration, but it wasn't helpful, so we wanted to create something that could be helpful in that situation.
What it does
ProjectPlannerAI asks you what your project is and it uses AI to give you ideas and helps you break it down by asking relevant questions.
How we built it
We used Python for coding, DeepFace for image facial analysis.
Challenges we ran into
We were new to Python, so it took a long time to fix and debug and sometimes we made it worse. DeepFace was hard to set up and get working properly.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that we got it working and even though we sometimes made it worse or broke it, we were still able to figure out the bugs to fix it.
What we learned
We learned how to code in Python, like the sleep() function and breaking up strings into keyword pieces. We learned how to use AI image analysis.
What's next for ProjectPlannerAI
Finish the rest of the project analysis and make it more personalized and test it with real students.
