Trouble communicating with other students in my own class.
What it does
An instant messaging web application that translates the message based on the user's choice in real time.
How I built it
I used Google Translate's API to provide accurate translations with a range of languages. In addition, I made different send/receive sockets (Node.js) in order to provide the right translation based on the user's language choice on different instance's of the server. I used a html5 and css to provide a web based application.
Challenges I ran into
Learning the languages from no prior knowledge.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The application worked! Woohoo!
What I learned
I learned a lot about Javascript, Node.js, HTML5, and some CSS.
